Link audio/visuals & applying audio effects P3 d)

When I worked in Adobe Premiere Pro I used tools and sound effects allowed me to improve the sound in my film opening. I put music in it to make the action more tense as this was very important for the genre I have chosen. So to find those effects and music tracks I browsed the web searching "scary music samples to download". As the result on several web sites I found tracks that were suitable. So I have downloaded them and then imported into my project and renamed it to "scary music"

To synchronise the sound and action that took place in the film opening I put special sounds to achieve the effect of horrifying audience in the moments where the video needed it. For example when George sees the Stranger in the final scene of the film opening I put a sudden sound to scare the audience. As you also can see I put the volume up to make the sound even more horrifying.

Then I put it in my editing space and placed it such that the music starts as the video does.

I also used Sound Effects Control panel to set the volume that I wanted in some moments of video. For example when I wanted George's footsteps to be heard I made volume a to gradually go down so that the volume wouldn't jump from high to low suddenly.

Firstly I went to Effect Control Panel and went for volume and then level.

By moving the point and putting it down I made the sound in that clip to go down gradually as desired.

As you can see, this resulted in the gradually reduced volume in the initial workspace.
