Logging and creating edit decision list P3 a)

When we finished all our filming we copied it on our laptops. An important thing in editing is to rename all the shot that we have taken to make it easier to find them. Here is an example of renaming shots.

Than we created a shot log that shows what pieces of the shots that we have taken are going to be used in our sequence. For example the second shot "Jumping Over" will be only 1,5 seconds long, it will start at the second second and end on the third and the half second. In the graph shot location written the place where the shot was taken. The graph description tells what exactly is going to be in the shot.

After the shot log is created we can start the project. Go to the Adobe Premiere Pro and start a new project. I chose Widescreen 48kHz because this format is the most suitable for Canon 7D footage.

Capture Format is HDV because this format is easy to convert and it is highly popular with people who are not experienced in making movies.

After the project has been created I imported all the filming I had in the project.
